So, the FBI is 'tight lipped'. Is is just me, or does this story eeriely remind anyone else of the DC Sniper story?

Young man, troubled ... etc, etc ... but this time, the name of the older man in Joel's life who was helping him w/ his ideas about purchasing that bomb material ... why, we don't hear a thing about him. There is no 'John Mohommed' named ... yet.

Instead, we're told Joel was 'technical' and 'acted alone'.

This story should be front page, and headline news every night until the truth comes out. Neither FOX or CNN will give much time to this, it reveals a weakness in "homeland security".

With due respect to the FBI, he had a ticket for the game, and he tried to bring his backpack into the stadium more than once.

I do remember. I had called in at the time to a radio show and told the host I believed there was a muslim connection. I brought up the EgyptAir Flight, LAX, NYC Empire State Building shootings, Brooklyn Bridge shooting, etc.

People really do have very short memories, and seem very hesitant to state the obvious.

It should also be repeated that Hindrich apparently didn't leave any suicide note or letter.

That would make it a very public secret suicide . . .if it were a suicide.

Just heard KRMG putting their morning spin on it. It went something like this:

"Norman police say that have nothing more than a mere suspicion that a student who committed suicide was up to something when he attempted to buy ammonium nitrate fertilizer..."

And... "It is not illegal to purchase ammonium nitrate, and police do not know why Hinrichs attempted to buy it before killing himself."

I wasn't recording, so I did these two quotes from memory. They're not verbatim, but the spin is the same.
