Probably unrelated but the is an Islamic sect that believe "God put an authenticating code in all His scriptures, including the Qur'an, based on the number 19" - apparently they are called Submitters and believe in the Koran alone ( no extra texts )

I found them accidently in a search for information on the threat.

Is the fact there is a crescent moon out right now have anything to do with timing of these attack?
