Give the OU bombing some time though. That one WILL get the national exposure it deserves. I think there are a couple reasons WHY it isn't getting much more attention...
1) the guy was clearly a muslim convert. The MSM wouldn't want that getting out.
2) it didn't really disrupt the game.
3) no one other than the bomber was injured. If it bleeds it leads and whatnot.
BOTH of these incidents should be breaking news.

Might I suggest that it's because the MSMers and their families ride the NY subway, coupled with the fact that they wouldn't be caught dead at a football game with the riff-raff of Norman, OK.

I held my tongue till we knew the identity of the bomber, but now I'm furiously curious about what the Hell the Senate is thinking protecting terrorists rights when a confirmed Muslim just committed suicide with a bomb outside a huge stadium.
I wonder if a handful of suicide bombers go off in this subway, and one survives crippled, are we going to pay them damages?

Because we are talking about a much greater population in NYC. Population of the entire State of Oklahoma is 3.5 million, NYC is 8 million, New York Metro area 22 million.

OK, I hate to be stupid. All I've been hearing on the news today is that the body of a missing college student was found.

I don't say this to be insulting. If Corpus Christi had been wiped off the map instead of New Orleans flooding, I doubt there would have been national telethons.
Even if Houston had a WMD attack, it wouldn't rate as high.
And I agree that the OU bombing has been completely overlooked even by conservative talk radio. At least one news channel in OKC is covering it and reporting new details/confirming old ones.
Perhaps the information about the subways is the result if information obtained during the investigation of the attemted homocide bombing in Oklahoma -- information that would have probably disappeared within hours after the blast if the national media had gone national over the Oklahoma situation.
We already had a terror attack this week in the United States....Why should they raise the alert level in NYC?
When his apartment was searched the police found another bomb...so they don't think it was merely a accident..I don't think it is a cover up, think there is nothing really more to the story at least nothing more on our local news.

The Saturday night death-by-bomb is SERIES and must be scrutinatized carefully. I'm hoping it's being kept low profile to avoid disrupting an ongoing investigation.
