What scares the hoplophobes most of all is that the kids just might learn something positive about guns. If young people get familiar with firearms and learn to handle them safely they will hopefully grow up to be responsible gun-owning adults. The hoplophobes will thus have a tougher time pushing their gun-grabbing agenda in the next generation.

Hoplophobes? Interesting word. I think it's true. So many kids around WI have a positive view of guns. That's the last place where kids need an education about guns. Most kids can't wait to go hunting at age 12. It is a milestone just like getting a driving license at 16.

The thing with the coloring books in Racine might be just that the City Council was so cheap in getting something for free, that they didn't know the coloring books came from the NRA. LOL It might have been a sneaky way for the NRA to spread propaganda or get some free publicity.
