Jurassic Carl, we called him.

He told a male reporter than Globe sports columnist Dan
Shaughnessy was the reporter's "Curly Haired Boyfriend"
(Dan's been referred to as the CHB in various places ever
since).

How about when he got violent and vulgar at Fenway Park...
on FAMILY DAY! Don't look, kids!!

from mlb.com...2001:

BOSTON -- Red Sox outfielder Carl Everett was ejected from a baseball game for the _second straight Family Day at Fenway Park_.

In the seventh inning of Boston's 6-3 win over Texas, the center fielder was called out looking to end the inning by home plate umpire Bill Welke. Everett had also argued a called strike on the previous pitch.

"He was ejected because of language first, followed by equipment," umpire crew chief John Hirschbeck said. "He didn't make us stop the game, but he was one second short of that."

After the third strike was called, Everett dropped the bat at the feet of Welke, then his batting helmet.

"It was really his language that was the issue," Welke said after Sunday's game. "There was lots of yelling and profanity that I couldn't make out."

The Red Sox hold Family Day annually for family members of players, employees and staff, with activities such as a children's game and a cookout.

On Family Day last season, Everett was ejected by home plate umpire Ron Kulpa for arguing about the batter's box. He served a 10-game suspension and was fined an undisclosed amount for excessive arguing, using foul language and making contact with an umpire.

The following statement sums up Carl Everett:

'Just because I've seen them in movies doesn't mean that they existed. They can make dinosaur bones just like they make dinosaurs for movies.''
