ID itself is agnostic about the specific religion but of course belief in a designer implies a religion just not a specific one. Is that clearer?

ID and the belief in creation are not interchangeable. ID is not based on Biblical text and I doubt that most IDer's would state that it is based on the Bible. Creationism, on the other hand, is based on the Bible. ID is not about religion.
