re: Earle's son, Jason Earle, seeks to succeed state Rep. Terry Keel, R-Austin, representing House District 47 in southwestern Travis County (Keel plans a run for the Court of Criminal Appeals). If Earle wins the Democratic nod next year, he could be a gigantic target for anyone upset at his dad. Imagine GOP stalwarts sending $50 each to whomever Republicans nominate and Democrats rallying in response. )))

Sounds good to me.

I think what is so funny, is all the letters to the editor of the Austin paper "praising" earle for pursuing the corruption of big money in politics. Everyone keeps talking about this being the third GJ, when the fact is this was the third GJ in five working days.

Then, the truth came out about the DA having five GJs in a three year period looking at the evidence and not one conviction. The sixth one found him guilty of a charge that was not against the law in 2002.

The first one of this year and the seventh one overall "No billed" DeLay. The eighth one again found DeLay guilty after "new evidence" showed up.

Now, after the GJ foreman made his comments on the local talk show yesterday and the audio being played on Rush yesterday, I am waiting for the letters for the next few days. The DA is the joke of Austin for now, and I wish the DoJ would come in and handcuff the real perp, ronnie earle.
