MATHEWS COUNTY The police task force investigating the disappearance of Virginia Commonwealth University student Taylor Marie Behl discovered the remains of a body Wednesday possibly connected to the case, said Richmond Police Chief Rodney D. Monroe.
The badly decomposed body was found in a shallow grave in the Diggs area of the county a wooded area roughly 70 miles east of Richmond in the 500 block of Knight Wood Road after an extensive investigation by two VCU police detectives.
Shortly after the discovery, the task force which comprises law enforcement officials from the Richmond Police Department, the State Police, FBI, VCU police and the attorney generals office were flown by helicopter to the county bordering the Chesapeake Bay.
While the remains had not been identified by late Wednesday, and werent expected to be moved by police until possibly today, Monroe said police notified the Behl family right away, out of respect. It is expected that it will take several days for the body to be identified by the Richmond medical examiner.

Sad indeed..
This is an excellent link for all the information. I just finished reading it..I know no one has been charged but her older photographer friend gives me the creeps.
Good link, thanks.
Safe to say this case is solved, and this should be an open and shut case.
Yes, I remember that Ben Fawley posted hateful stuff about her. I think her name is Erin Cabill.
I think they are keeping it pretty close to the vest as far as evidence is concerned...They have to build a solid case and have time to do so..He is already in jail without bond for child porno found on his computer..
That link I posted is a great source of information..
He was too cute to bury her on his old girlfriend's family land, if he is the murderer..
He does not handle breakups well...Might have had a sick desire to cause her trouble. He sure slammed the old girl friend in his personal internet writings.. One girl had a restraining order against him.
What was this all about?...
"The next time and the last time Kevin saw her was Monday, Sept. 5 around 8:45 p.m. She had been eating dinner with a former boyfriend, but later, by herself sought out Kevin to tell him something she was excited about. "I'm going to do something highly illegal," she confided. "an early birthday present." Kevin sounded a bit wary of that announcement and didn't ask her for specifics. He didn't think anything more about it until Thursday, when he first heard that Taylor had gone missing."
This photographer is a slug that preyed on a young girl. I hope he gets what he deserves.... and then some.
She was seventeen...I have no idea..He loved young girls because they were vulnerable and he could control them..and when he couldn't he seems to get crazy..He does have a bipolar disorder..and a criminal past. He posted porn but it was not child porn on one of his sites I read..but the child porn thing I cannot explain..I think he is just evil...smooth and evil.
Someone said on another site..."Why would he leave these pictures up and risk a hint of where she was buried? He did take the Taylor pictures down from his sites..Why leave these?"
I believe part of it is the thrill of thinking how smart and clever he is and how dumb the cops are..
If murderers were as smart as they think they are..we'd never solve a crime.
Yeah, I read that. I have another theory that he wasn't very thorough.
......hummm...serial killer??? Did they ever find Chandra Levy's killer?
No, they didn't. If it wasn't Gary Condit, then they believe it may be a serial rapist/murderer.
And Joyce Chiang

This will go to the heart of his defense. That his criminal behavior was the result of being bipolar and that it's all the doctors' faults for not treating/looking after him properly. Bull hockey! But don't be surprised if this is the angle his defense team will go. In fact there's probably some sleazy lawyer out there right now thinking the same thing...thinking he/she can get this guy off based on that particular defense and would relish the opportunity/challenge to do so.
It won't work if he knows the difference between right and wrong..Bi polar people are more likely to commit suicide, I believe, than commit murder.
