I don't think he's trying to "argue" with him so much as elicit an opinion as to her qualifications for this office, and how he arrived at his view of Harriet Miers, which is exactly what he did when interviewing Senator Lindsay Graham earlier today, on his nationally syndicated talk radio show.

I don't think asking questions-especially when dealing with an issue of such great import-is necessarily a bad thing.

It's comforting that Ken Starr is disposed favorably towards her, but I don't see why that means we should foreclose debate on this subject.

I couldn't tell you if he is arguing or eliciting...I personally do not listen to that blowhard....all you can do is listen to him because he never gives anyone he is talking to, a chance to get a word in edgewise.

I don't think we need to foreclose debate. I do think it's preferable to debate this without calling the President names and acting like this is a betrayal on the order of Benedict Arnold.

I also think that people like Ann Coulter are going to look really foolish if Harriet Miers does as well in front of the Judiciary Committee as John Roberts did.
