I really don't know, But has Gates ever chaired the Senate Intel Committee? Does he dine with George Tenant? Of course, I'm just playing around with fun ideas here.
Gates was head of the CIA. Before that I think he did work for the Senate Intel Cmtee, before Tenet, but I'm not 100% sure.
