let them come out with more "bull Connor" and "KKK" insults. THEN clobber them with "you should know - your man from WV (Byrd) is one in real life!"
we don't need allegories when they have the real thing.

The Rev. Al Sharpton said, "if there is a person that is a symbol that many blacks organize around and organize against in this generation, it would be Bush." He added: "We've gone from fire hoses to levees."I wish that America's Democratic black elite would tour the entire continent of Africa. I wish they could see first hand how difficult life can be without conservative values. Then again, they probably know what they are doing and really don't care. Very, very sad indeed.

Please explain to me why, after 70 years of Dem Party rule, is NO and the State of Lousiana such a complete mess?

"Look at these neighborhoods before Katrina hit. Bush made that community what it is." Of course back when Clinton was president these people were all Martini sipping Volvo driving yuppies, right?

The ignorant, demagogic, buffoons of the black congressional caucus never had any "decorum" to lose.

The 9th ward and certain other ghetto areas, public and low income housing were no mans lands after dark. When I graduted from Holy Cross in the early 80s, a 150+ year old private Catholic school in the 9th ward, it was already bad enough that if I hadnt been graduating I would have changed schools.

Please explain to me why, after 70 years of Dem party rule, NO and the state of Louisiana such a complete mess?I know you're asking a rhetorical question.
But certainly the Longs,Blancos,Breuxs, and Landrieus are hoping you never get an answer.
To: camle
Their response would be thunderous:
"How dare you question the Exalted an Honorable Robert C. Byrd, the Very Conscience of the Senate".
After all, if the poor folks didn't love him so much, how come they name everything after him?

Good idea, thanks for putting that up!

For some reason, the Leftists in this nation never have to pay the piper when they endorse
actual racists...like when
Chris Dodd (D-Connecticut) praised Klansman Robert Byrd (who voted
against the Civil Rights Act of 1964) as being the right man "at the founding of this country," "crafting [the] Constitution," and "right during the great conflict of civil war in this Nation."
...and these same Leftists have the nerve to call GWB a racist. Huh.

My pleasure! I used to read NRO and NR-on-dead-tree all the time so I am familiar with most of the regular columnists, but it occurred to me that some FReepers and lurkers may not know who he is.

Please explain to me why, after 70 years of Dem Party rule, is NO and the State of Lousiana such a complete mess? Because we haven't given them enough money, of course! That's the Leftists' answer to every problem...throw more of other people's money at the problem.
And if it's still a problem after billions have been poured in, why...that too is because not enough money has been thrown at the problem!

Did Byrd have a higher rank in the KKK than George W. Bush?
By George, yes! The Dem did recruiting for the organization.
