Like you, I thought Amy was the only son.

Eh, Jimmy had three sons (if I recall correctly), but they were all grown up by the time he suddenly found himself POTUS, so only Amy lived in the WH. I'm not sure any of them amounted to much, but it is admittedly hard to be presidential spawn: Dubya and Jeb aside, we haven't heard much lately from Steve Ford, say, or Steve Brown (LBJ's illegitimate son).

Well, he's 58, so I guess he woulda been in his late 20s already when Jimmah was in office.

Quite a spread in ages between him and Amy. Youthful indiscretion? Wonder how long Jimmah has been married?

The Carter legacy: islamic fundamentalism unleashed on the world, double digit inflation rates, double digit interest rates, double digit unemployment, odd/even days to get gas.

Jack Carter? Is this "Chip" Carter?

No matter. They're all losers.

Gosh, that was a harsh assessment on my part. I apologize.

Jimmah's been married for many years. He only lusted after other women in heart.

Alright, that's enough for now. But, don't think I've forgotten about his father Jimmy's delightful and helpful peanut farming enterprise. In fact, one last one. Remember, says the U.N., Clinton and Carter recommend a diet high in protein for healthy skin and fashionably polka dotted blue dresses: eat more peanuts. Jack Carter Dishonorably Discharged!

From oral history (with Jack Carter)
Jack Carter: "..and anyway, when I got to Idaho Falls, one of the things that the Navy did in the interest of maintaining the moral purity of its people was, they had a drug bust. And nobody actually caught me, some people had said that I had actually smoked marijuana with them. and when they came to ask me if that were true, I said that it was. Because it was. And also, threw in that I had a couple of LSD tablets and some THc, just to make sure that if I was going to get -- if I was on the borderline, to make sure I got out. So they were busting me out of the Navy in a fairly mellow manner, about the time dad was being elected governor..."

Isn't Steve Ford on some soap opera?

Vote Carter in 2012: Because The Ayatollah Told You To, Dammit!

And look at that glorious legacy. *Simpson's Comic Book Guy Voice* Worst...president...EVER...As for the Legacy, I shall give it a C-. In an unusual spirit of generousity, I awarded it points for not immersing the nation in a devastating nuclear exchange...with Thailand.

Thanks. All I can find are a couple of piddling political donations made by one Elizabeth S. Carter who works for the firm.

Thanks. I guess that if one is named John and doesn't be just a plain John, they have a lot of options.

You are much too generous.

I give him an F for the dead Marines in the desert trying to rescue the American Embassy hostages.
