I gave it a shot and the first website you mention it told me the address is available. The second also sent me to the CIA and I suppose now I'm a suspect, too. I'm sure it won't be long before half of FreeRepublic is now considered a terrorist cell ... but you warned us.
I agree with you. I'd like to be able to see what the terrorists are saying on their sites (assuming it's in English). I've logged on to other terrorist-related websites in the past to see what they were saying. Also, it sort of destroys the whole idea of "covert" when the CIA tells you what they're doing.
Maybe by taking over the website the CIA is preventing the jihadis from communicating. If that's the case (and they got a warrant to do it) then I'll back off my criticism. Otherwise, I agree that I don't like it.

I don't think you can get a warrant to block a website.
