You can BET al-jazeera is repoting him as a hero.
You can BET liberal ratings shall plunge.

The father of a University of Oklahoma student who committed suicide outside a packed football stadium using explosives said Monday his son didn't intend to harm anyone else or push a political agenda
And the parents of Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold believed their kids could never have perpetrated a massacre like Columbine and had absolutely no idea what they were up to, even though they had accumulated an arsenal of weapons in their own home and trained there for weeks.
No parent can know 100% for sure what their kids are up to, including this man.

"He was pretty disengaged from politics," the father told The Associated Press. "And he took the care to select an open area where there was no one around." Other than the 84,000 people around a 100 yards away. There is a much more open area on the other side of the stadium, and closer to this guy and his Pakistani roommate's apartment.

You know I just asked my buddy here if he'd heard about it, and he said "No, not a thing" and seemed to be genuinely surprised. The one thing of significance here is that he's always on CNN or BBC web news.

until we know all the facts it is all speculation... The real world doesn't work that way. You never get all the facts, you never know when you are going to get "the fact" that finally connects all the dots.
So you try to make sense of the facts as they come in. These facts and dots are starting to point in a very scary direction.

I am well aware of how the real world works...
You say the facts coming in point in a scary direction...
Your basing this off of limited media coverage and so for a bunch of facts that the local media has thrown together.
Where is his jihadi message of how he is striking out against the great satan... why are there no other people in his apartment building coming out saying he is was anti American, or a jihadi?
I understand what you are saying, but I am not seeing some big indicators aside from the two that I listed that tell me that this was a jihadi attack....
A disturbed kid mimic what he saw in the media maybe, but not a jihadi attack on America... that is all I am saying.

Yeah, he could have been trying to carry out a whole SERIES of suicide bombings. His mistake was thinking that he could successfully complete more than one. Or he was trying to place his bomb or bombs inside the stadium somewhere and then make his escape.

Why didn't the roommate report all that dangerous stuff in his apartment? A very least there is collusion there.

collusion possibly....
But consider the roommates point of view...
He is of Pak descent...his roommate blows himself up... and the apartment is loaded with explosives...
if he had gone to the authorities before the incident he may have been as afraid of being profiled as the terrorist..
There are so many avenues on this....I am not giving either of them a free pass on this, but the info we get from the media is not the same as the FBI, OBI, state cops, etc have... so I cannot say one way or another weather it was a jihadi with the facts I have... so I take it at face value right now, a disturbed individual that went out with a bang.
I know others see it as a clear cut case of a jihadi blowing his top... all are entitled to their opinion. as I am to mine. I just choose not to jump to conclusions at this point.

You are jumping to conclusions as much as anyone else - the difference is that the "others" are jumping to conclusions based on the reports from the media. Your conclusions are based on a belief that the media is not providing truthful or accurate information.

Better than even odds the parents are Lefty whack jobs just like Taliban John's. That's the set up. Then, when such a kid gets out in the world, recruitment comes easily. No core values, no traditions. Craving *something* he stumbles into a clique of Pakistani students at OU. The pieces fall into place.
