All Muslims aren't terrorists, but all the terrorists were Muslims.
The demonization of Islam is something that the Muslims have to fix. Not us. The perception is the reality, particularly when most Muslims seem to give tacit approval to the terrorists by their lukewarm or nonexistent outcry against them. Doubly so when mullahs are routinely preaching against innocent "infidels" and mosques are considered safe havens and recruiting stations for Islamofascists.
Again the religion of peace are marking things with a red x. I do hate that.

OK, maybe overly simplistic. We see the murderous actions of jihadis and shaheeds all over the globe, massacring Jews, Hindus, Christians, Buddhists, Sikhs, Agnostics, and Atheists alike, while chanting "allah akbah!" and using the Koran, and hadeeths as justification.
But are they really that stupid? I suspect former (Turkish) diplomat, and professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu is not.

Not only is Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu paranoid, but his name appears inhuman like it came from a sci-fi movie.
As for me, I consider each and every one of them "the dangerous ones" until conclusively proven otherwise, case by individual case.
I trust none of them.
I know a devout Muslim, of Iranian descent, pretty well. He came to the USA when the Shah fell, and is now a citizen.
He says (and I believe him) that any jihadist he comes across has bigger problems than DHS or the FBI to contend with.
His take is that the jihadist problem is based on the massive ignorance of most of its practitioners, rather than Islam itself.
Maybe he's right; maybe not. I do know I'd share a foxhole with Obayed anytime. However, he is an exception to my policy stated earlier - as far as I'm concerned, Islamics have something to prove to ME; not the other way around.
