Bush got more of the black vote in the last two elections than any other Republican in history. The people of NO are not the segment of blacks moving right. They are staying right on the plantation to wait on daddy gov'ment to bail them out. I'm talking black middle class, they are the ones who would even pay attention to a SCOTUS hearing. The NO crowd would just believe whatever Rev Jesse said about the hearing.

Are you sure about that? Gore got about 96% of the black vote and Kerry got about 90%. No republican has ever recieved more than 4% of the black vote?

The President was disturbed by CFR. He only signed it because he either had to sign it or veto the bill entirely since the Courts took away his line item veto powers.

You must be joking. Even Dole got more of the black vote than Bush 43. So did his father, RR, Nixon, and Eisenhower. Prior to FDR, the party of Lincoln used to attract the majority of black voters, especially in the South.
