I suppose he was lying then - what a shock ;-) ! But there is no reason now to perpetuate the myth that Gore was pro-life in 1988 when he was casting pro-abortion votes in the Senate from 1985 to 1988.

As I said in a thread yesterday, Gore campaigned as a pro-life candidate. I have no idea what he truly believed. All I can attest to is what I remember from that campaign.
