A supreme court judge pretty much lasts almost up until death.

Who in general could serve more years on the supreme court: A healthy 60 year old, or a healthy 47 year old?

No fuzzy math required.

I'd take a more qualified 60 year old over a lesser qualified 47 year old.

I know what you're trying to say and I agree with most of your points referencing her qualifications versus more qualified candidates, but a "healthy" 47 year old could be a very unhealthy 50 year old in a three short years. It happens all the time.
