I'll tell ya...I've said some of the most inoccuous things lately to leftists claiming to be "Christian", and BOY did they get mad!

It was r-e-a-l-l-y strange. Of course, they accused us of being "Bible Scholars", and having a "holier than thou" attitude.

We discussed some issues from the same Bibles....Old King James, New King James, New American Standard, and Complete Jewish Bible.

It was a discussion out of Romans 1 about sexual immorality, and people who have a knowlege of God, but don't "know" God.

Mad isn't even a good description. I thought they were just going to EXPLODE.

...and I never got upset...just kept pointing out that their "philosophies" about eternity, homosexuality, abortion, good works...etc...etc... simply weren't true according to the same "reference standard" that we all agreed on....God's Word as recorded in the Bible.

It was one of the strangest things I've ever seen....I think the only good way to describe their response was demonic.

Rom 1:21 Because when they knew and recognized Him as God, they did not honor and glorify Him as God or give Him thanks. But instead they became futile and godless in their thinking [with vain imaginings, foolish reasoning, and stupid speculations] and their senseless minds were darkened.

All people at one time knew God but turned away from Him. I believe that is why you saw their actions as "demonic" because they know deep down in their hearts God does exist and they want to bury Him deep. You won't get this kind of reaction out of somebody who has been able to.
