This is nothing - have you ever been involved in a major fight within the GOP as in 1976? The people criticizing this decision are loyal Republicans and conservatives who are not out to hurt the president. And too many folks see them as the same as Moveon.org, and treat them that way. But thoughtful conservatives who need more than "trust" aren't going to go away because some become rude or misstate their views. They ARE the heart of the party, and will remain so. I don't take a few nasty emailers here to represent very muich. You don't necessarily agree with me and others, but you show thoughtfulness, which is much appreciated.

Mark, I was 7 years old in '76...a kid attacked me with a pair of scissors....does that count?

I will add, that depressed commentary (Ingraham, Colter) doesn't help the party. They could at least be upbeat about the fight....

I really like the fire you add to the discussion without alot of bashing.
