Any nomination of our "dream" SC judges would create another opening, another nomination and another senate/media Bush bashing.
I know he surrounds himself with excellent people, which is why I am not sure enough to to say either way, how I feel about her.
On the other hand, I have read Mark's book, and hold his opinion in the highest regard.
Hence my confusion :(
Did not in this very thread someone refer to anyone not onboard with this nomination as an idiot? Do you denounce that statement?
For the record, Mark did not call you an idiot. He disagrees with this candidate. He's also angry he's being dismissed because his opinion is not positive. And no one can deny there are many on this board right now dismissing those in disagreement as being trolls, malcontents, susceptible to MSM propaganda. Granted, there are those on the other side slamming people as Bushbots. Both are wrong.
We have encouraged and enboldened them by our reaction. What the Hell did anyone expect?

I appreciate your loyalty to W and I also trust him but this one has me scratching my head that he would bypass known Conservatives. I do hope she won't disappoint.
All I can say to you is keep up the good fight. You have way more support in your opinion than I do. I'm not against you on this at all, I'm just not convinced she was the most qualified.
