So it was Mayor Nagin and his colleagues who couldn't "get off their asses" and do something! When are reporters going to DEMAND that Nagin and Blanco answer the obvious question: why didn't THEY "get off their asses" and use all the myriad local and state resources available to them???? How insane is it to expect a federal agency to accomplish this kind of task with charter buses from many hundreds of miles away when local and state officials couldn't manage to do it with all the buses that were available to them?
