She sure is opinionated, ain't she?
She doesn't have a clue what kind of a Supreme Court justice Miers will make. This is not a team sport. Whether we like it or not, Bush gets to pick this nominee. What she's doing is like Monday morning quarterbacking, except on Saturday night.
And neither does anyone else...including the President....which is the point.
As Mark Levin said on his show last night....he was involved in the vetting of Anthony Kennedy and Kennedy lied through his teeth about his judicial philosophy. Anyone can say anything. Why leave anything to chance? Why, when there were potential nominees with a strong record...should we now just hope and trust...why didn't he pick someone who had a record of originalism? Why? I just don't get it
Neither do you nor I nor anyone else for that matter. The point is, why take a chance with such a rare opportunity?
And whether others "like it or not", those of us who do not like it cannot be compelled to do so. It's a free country, for a while.
Neither do we, unfortunately. But we should, and could have.
Ann needs to put on a dress (cover those skinny legs) and run for president. Then if elected, she can pick a nominee to the supreme court that pleases her.
