Ann said - "Totally unqualified", called Judge Roberts "a 'dream' candidate in light of this nomination", mentioned "cronyism" over and over

A damn shame Annie has latched on to the Lefty talking point of the day.

I truly believe Brown and Owens and Jones would have been filibustered. Does that mean don't try. I don't know. I also don't know what Bush heard back from the GOP Senators when these names were brought up. Bush can nominate, but he needs the Senators support (at least 50 of them).

Funny thing she said about Roberts. She shredded that pick at first too. Perhaps someone could get her to eat a decent meal once in a while?

Ann Coulter is a "knee-jerk Bush hater", "sunshine patriot", and "DU troll" because she doesn't like the Miers pick.

I wonder if Ann will now go after Clarence Thomas, the justice she has talked about cloning. Because Thomas was not the most qualified for the position in 1991. And was considered a legal lightweight, who only got the spot because he was filling the "black seat". And shudder he actually worked in 41's administration at the time.

Isn't there some sort of rule regarding mentioning Ann Coulter and posting a pic? Why else would people click on these threads? ;)

I heard her yesterday on Howie Carr's show. She kept talking about Miers not being from one of the top law schools in the country. On this issue she sounded like a little bit of an education snob to me.

I wonder if Bush is thinking more of the courts overall makeup, than the intellectual firepower of the nominee. For example, he gets Roberts in there, a sure fire, first rate thinker, and now, he nominates someone whom he knows and trusts, and he knows that she will be flexible towards Roberts' opinion, much like the Scalia-Thomas relationship. Maybe Bush is thinking more in terms of the GROUP, than the individuals.. hmmmm..

I LOVE Ann! But she may be wrong here. It is hard to remember 90% of what the media says about Bush is slanted. I would rather go with a personal selection than a Souter type pick.
