Happy Rosh Hashanah! We can't talk about Christmas either. My kids concerts are no winter concerts. Last year they changed the words to the song, "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" to "We Wish You A Happy Holiday". That didn't go off too well with some of the parents in our district. We've tolerated the absence of Christ in Christmas, and now we have to change traditional Christmas songs?

My daughter who helps put on her children's Christmas program, insisted that no words would be changed and that the greeting of Merry Christmas be used along with all holiday greetings of all religions - and with the help of 98% of parents, they threw out Kwanzaa! All this in the heart of liberal CT. If your school disallows freedom of speech but allows Islam and Kwanzaa to be celebrated, Ladies...DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! You are the People!
