"I think that a lot of what passes for liberal thought is also based in intuitive vs. sensing."
Why, it is not a psychological but rather a physiological problem - they still "think", but what do they "think" with? And while brain convolutions are superficially resembling intestines, the corresponding contents and [antillectual] quality thereof is clearly different - one stinks much worse...

Actually, the best integrated people are balanced between their thinking and intuitive processes. And the other split that comes into play is sensate vs. feeling. What you have amongst people who are not in touch with their feelings are judgments based upon repressed feelings. That is where homophobia comes from in the Neo-cons vs. the balanced approach of a mature conservative like Barry Goldwater (”You don’t have to BE straight to be in the Army. You just have to shoot straight.”) On the otherhand, a bleeding heart type liberal who has not worked on their inferior thinking process will make knee-jerk decisions based upon their emotions.

Sensate type conservatives think viscerally and gonadily. Feeling type liberals from the heart center to the throat. The first is more self centered. The second seeks unity with what’s out there.

So, personality types, Know Thy Self!
