To everyone who thought Dubya was going to nomnate a hard right firebrand, it wasn't going to happen. Dubya, whatever the left thinks about him, isn't a far right guy. He's a neocon who would prefer to save his ammunition for winning the war in Iraq, and since our lives depend on winning that war, I'd prefer that he do that rather than fight over an ultra rightwing bomb thrower judge.
