"You do not have to be a great lawyer to be elected President of a state bar ass'n."

Who said anything about being a great lawyer? I mean she is a good person with a good head on her shoulders who can get along with people. This is NOT just any old state, this is the state bar association of TEXAS! As you should know, Texans are some special folks. They have good hearts and practice a deeply practical conservatism.

Squawk as much as you like about this nomination, it is a done deal and all your squawking and complaining are a waste of time and energy. I hope that at least it makes you feel better or more important or something.

I don't want someone who gets along well with others. I want someone who will zealously protect me from an overreaching government and judiciary. My momma is a great person who gets along with other people, does that qualify her for the Court?

Why are you so willing to fawn all over this nominee when there are so many exceptionally qualified judges with outstanding conservative credentials? BTW, I am the chair of my county GOP central committee, on the steering committee for a GOP gubernatorial campaign and was on the Bush legal team in this state in 04. So don't you dare accuse me of whining or complaining.
