How devout can Miers be if she is busy throwing money at the DNC, and AL Gore?

I think we need to realize that something really is rotten here. Even if she was Karen Hughes...giving BIG DOUGH to the DNC would be a show-stopper for any intelligent jurisprudential conservative. And GWB must know he has laid an egg. The desperation with which he VEERS LEFT after his imploded popularity should tell us all we need to know about his gut instincts.

Quite devout, actually. And from what I've learned, she is very generous and charitable.

If there is a question of her commitment to moral principle, ask about her heading of a gambling operation, lottery, and efforts to grow that operation. Ask why she didn't resign from the ABA when it crammed a pro-choice resolution into effect. First as a resoultion, per se, and then as a resolution unsupported by the full membership as the Texas Bar advocated.

I'll say this though about her charity - she appears to put her money and her time where her heart is. She tithes, and gives her time to help those who aren't "making it" for whatever reason. She walks the talk on compassionate conservatism.

Busy?

She gave back in 1988, when she was a conservative Dem in Texas, hasn't given since to Dems, and you say she's BUSY throwing money at the DNC?

What she's been BUSY doing is working very long days assisting the President of the United States. You wouldn't know that kind of busy if it bit you in the tuckus.

Blind loyalty at its best.
