Clarence Thomas was head of the obscure EEODC before he was elevated to Justice.
Why pray tell, were these relatively unknown nominees not mediocrities and only Miers ?
Do you have to graduate from an Ivy League school like Ann Coulter to NOT be considered mediocre ?
If so, then why not simply write a rule that says, anyone who does not graduate from the top 10 Law schools of the Peterson's Graduate School guide need not apply ?
