Public health and safety should not be sacrificed for political correctness.

Exactly.
I work for The Red Cross..
ANYONE who engages in risky behavior will be declined...

I am sick to death of this PC garbage.
We also refuse (temporarily)people who travel to malaria risk areas..
What next?
Are the tourists going to sue?

Reference your comment (#2) concerning public health. Oncet upon a time, public health concerns mattered. Folks with deadly communicable diseases weren't allowed into the country or if already "in" were quarantined and those with whom they had come in contact were notified.
But all that is a thing of the past, partially due to PC concerns and AIDS.

"Public health and safety should not be sacrificed for political correctness."
Absolute;y it should NOT! And the WHO as well as the APA and any other public health organizations need to realize that! Not making everyone aware of the dangers of homosexuality is negligent and it is also, a huge number of lawsuits just waiting to happen!
Imagine it, "My school made me gay" "I was taught it was healthy and normal" "Neither the media, the professionals, the government, or even my school made me aware of the health risks"
If we don't stop this "uncivil rights" campaign now, there is going to be a free fall of lawsuits, and some may be that they were given tainted blood, due to the Red Cross etc, allowing homosexuals to give blood, when they KNEW they were at risk for AIDS. Couple that with a fervent desire to contaminate heterosexuals with AIDS so that it isn't a homosexual disease, and there is even more urgent action, that needs to be taken.
