I don't understand that statement. Do you mean you are happy with the political direction of the Supreme Court for the last few years?

No, I'm saying certaintly she doesn't push the Court to the right of O'Connor, and lets hope to God she doesn't push it to the left.

Best case scenario for Miers is maintaining the balance, lets hope we at least accomplish this.

He means the best we can hope for is that it stays as bad as it's been.

And might well be worse.
