I don't know a lot about her either, but this is from the Political Journal email from the WSJ last week:
"In choosing a replacement for Sandra Day O'Connor on the Supreme Court, President Bush may pull a Dick Cheney. The latest speculation centers on White House Counsel Harriet Miers, who is leading the search for a nominee.
Ms. Miers is a Texas attorney and Bush confidante who went to Washington in 2001 and served as staff secretary of the White House and as deputy chief of staff. She succeeded Alberto Gonzales as White House counsel last November. In Texas, Ms. Miers was co-managing partner of a prestigious Dallas law firm and was the first woman to be elected president of the Texas Bar Association. Mr. Bush once called her "a pit bull in size 6 shoes."
Ms. Miers is known for her pro-life views, and if nominated, her confirmation won't be easy. In the early 1990s, she led a fight to get the American Bar Association to reverse its pro-abortion rights policy. She lost."

Can you give us any facts to back this up? We are sadly short of any detailed information here.
One post says that she has supported Exodus Ministries, which helps homosexuals get psychological counseling to straighten them out. Frankly, that is a hopeful sign, because no one who was politically correct would touch this issue with a ten-foot pole. But I'd like more details to confirm that she is pro-life and can be DEPENDED ON.
Quite frankly I could careless if she is proChoice as long as she does not subscribe to that unconstitutional fiction - the "Right to Privacy" - that imposed Roe v Wade on our Republic.
