I have grave doubts that an evangelical Christian as she is depicted, lawyer or no, will be able to stand before the Senate and successfully avoid betraying her convictions about abortion. Is it your view that a nominee who testified "Roe v. Wade was wrongly decided and should be reversed" would not be confirmed?
What do you think the vote would be on such a nominee?

The nominee would not get 60 votes for cloture or 50 votes for the nuke option -- not in the current Senate, anyway.

What do you think the vote would be on such a nominee? It's a moot point, since no nominee is going to say that Roe was flawed and should be reversed.
It is my view that the nominee who would say that should be certified by two physicians.
