"What does military law have to do with the supreme court?"

Surely you jest?

Ever hear of military tribunals?

Perhaps you have a different definition of "military tribunal" than I do. If you are looking for someone that has experience in serving on a tribunal then my school board members all meet the requirements.

If you are somehow implying that knowledge of military law will be helpful in interpreting the Constitution then I have to disagree. While useful, it will be no more useful than someone versed in City law, county law, or state law.

So back to my original question. What does military court experience have to do with interpreting the Constitution?
