Why didn't President Bush pick a female Veteran, experienced in military law.
Who is going to protect our troops
in Iraq and Gitmo
when the ACLU takes their cases to the Supreme Court regarding "insurgent abuse" and their "civil rights?"
I have nothing against Harriet Miers
but what experience does she have in military law?
We know Supreme Court Justice John Roberts doesn't,
can't at least the 2nd pick have experience in
military law?
There are plenty of women,
who have served in the military,
and have actual hands on experience
in military law.
What does military law have to do with the supreme court? Why not get an expert in Fairfax county law?
Gee, I dunno - other than the fact that she has been White House counsel during the War on Terrorism?
Why can't he pick another man?
Maddie Albright and Jocylen Elders are proof that when you dumb down the gene pool that you not only don't get the best, you get the worst.
At my office we hire based on qualifications. If the best candidate for the job isn't a Black, a woman or a polar bear we don't care.
We hire the best.
Shelia Jackson Lee should keep doing what she is doing as she doesn't stand a chance of getting a job in the private sector doing real work for a real company. I have met her twice and she is an idiot. I wouldn't let her cut my grass. Fortunatly there are plenty of illegal criminals here to do that if I need them.
Tonk, I don't think she needs experience in that area, it is the US Constitution we are concerned with here, the rest will take care of itself.
BTTT!!!!!!
Splendid points-- clearly he could've done a lot better than Ms. Miers.
Bump!
