I figured as much. Conservatives can do much good work in contacting them and discussing the issues. Their staffs don't need to know the stripes of their constituent callers.

Of course, in that hellhole that is California, it's a whole 'nuther world.

Nonsense. They have access to your voter registration information. If you aren't registered to vote, they won't talk to you at all. If you're a Republican, they'll talk but they won't listen.

Personally, I'm registered as "Decline to State."
I may switch to Republican to vote in the 2008 primary, but that's doubtful since by the time the primaries come to California, they're more of a victory parade than a race.
Then again, I may not be able to stomach voting "Republican" by then.
