I really have to admit, she's really starting to seriously piss me off with it. Don't get me wrong, President Reagan was my all time favorite President but President Bush is a different person, with a different leadership style and we live in a very different world now than when RR was running the show.
So are many other conservatives on some issues. With President Bush going along with the outrageous overspending bills being passed by Congress, his non-stance on illegal immigration, etc. I think Ann is right on message for true conservatives on these and other issues.
President Bush is doing a decent job in my book. Though from my perspective he and his advisors appear to be caught up in worrying about if the lame stream liberal media likes them or not instead of 'steamrolling' forward with the agenda we elected him on.
It looks different this morning, in light of Miers, doesn't it?
Why not?
Open borders? Global welfare? Fiscal spedning like a far let radical? Failure to pick known originalists to SCOTUS?
Either Republicans are (1) a party loyalist, or
(2) concerned more about the nation's future and current direction than "party politics".
It is very safe to say you are a party loyalist who does not give much thought to the direction the nation is headed.
Ann Coulter, as well as Michelle Malkin, Kristol, and a lengthy list of other conservative commentators have been and will continue to "take shots at the president" since the president really does not act the part of a conservative. We had hoped Bush would be a conservative, but the "Letter R" after a name makes one a Republican but not necessarily a conservative.
George Bush has been far worse for us than just a "dissappointment". George Bush has done 180 degreees opposite for Republicans' future than what Ronald Reagan had done. Bush has wiped out the Reagan legacy and set back the Republican Party light years. For sure, we can't associate the word "conservatism" with "Republican Party", after the damage done by George Bush.
I feel the same way. She's beginning to sound very shrill to me. Too bad. I always liked her.
That's a pity. Pres. Bush has really pissed me off with thriftless spending, support for illegal aliens and general fecklessness.
If the alternative wasn't somebody like Kerry, I wouldn't have voted for him.
