Hillary is a far left extremist she has the most liberal voting record in the senate.

She voted for amnesty for illegal farm workers, she is for u.s taxpayers paying for illegals tuition, she voted against more border agents and more detainee beds.

There is nothing moderate about Hillary.

The media saying she is running to the center is laughable. Her center is between Fred Ferrer and John Kerry. Her ACU rating last year was 0. Ben Nelson a real centrist politician had an acu rating in the 50's.

Since the Mexican government provides the illegals with instructions on how to use the US system, maybe they could get together with Hitlery and make it easier. The best solution would be to send her and slick Willie to Mexico. We don't need them or the illegals. Maybe Hitlery could lead the "army of illegals" back to Mexico and take over their government. Then she could erect a wall to keep them in Mexico as most marxists government do.

Hillary has always been pro illegals. It is the media who is making her out to be something she isn't. She is also good at triangulating. Her voting record plays to her base. Then she makes a few statements and people that should know better eat it up. Never listen to Hillary's words look at her actions. While she is pretending to be something to all people just look at her voting record. She can't run and hide from her voting record. Why would anyone pay attention what someone in congress says that is different from there voting record. It just shows what a frand they are.

Implosion.. The former First Lady has figured out that the game is over with. While there are others who are all up and happy to have her run for President, she's come to the rational conclusion that the only piece of that puzzle that she'll have will be 'also ran.'

She might even go so far as to file papers in a state so she can pocket the 200+ grand of extra salary (paid for by the campaign committee) and call it a night. To get to the White House, she has to win in New York again for the Senate, win convincingly enough to prove that she is viable, and not hit the party landmines at the same time.

Not going to happen. Her lurch to the right is over with.

Now, how about some folks figure out who the real threats are in the Rats for the race to the White House in 2008?

I am betting what is at stake here is not emergency-level helps, however (like food, shelter, clothing on a short term rescue basis) but PROPERTY and OWNERSHIP of property issues like mortgages, "free" or reduced cost replacement housing from FEMA (new trailers!) and educational financing and things of that nature. Those and the prize of "amnesty" is the goal here...

Below I've posted an excerpt about what aid is (and is not) available for illegal aliens. Given what Bush has done to almost ensure that the rebuilding on the gulf coast will be done by illegals, I believe that the following shows the administration is talking out of both sides of its mouth.

September 20, 2005 - The Department of Homeland Security recently announced that immigrants [never, ever call an illegal alien an illegal alien!] have no immunity from deportation when providing information required to receive federal aid. "The administration's priority is to provide needed assistance: water, food, medical care, shelter," said Joanna Gonzalez, a DHS spokeswoman. "However, as we move forward with the response, we can't turn a blind eye to the law."

In his national address Thursday, President Bush read off a list of services that the estimated 40,000 Mexicans and 150,000 Hondurans who lived in the New Orleans area cannot get: checks from Social Security, mail delivery by the Postal Service, money to rent apartments and temporary trailer homes.

Jacob Prado, who is coordinating relief efforts for the Mexican Embassy, distributed cash and airline tickets in and around Biloxi to Mexican citizens wishing to return home, an embassy spokesman said.

Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is urging the Department of Homeland Security to assure illegal immigrants that they will get their fair share of Hurricane Katrina relief aid...

The only aid they merit is a one-way coach ticket back to where they came from and $50 in their hands.

I'm surprised President Bush and Republican leadership didn't suggest this first.

That is their policy right? Amnesty for Illegals.

Like I wrote earlier, what seems to be at stake here is that illegal aliens and their defenders and accommodators (in our Senate, unfortunately), by seeking "amnesty" for illegal aliens, are trying to go for these as-now prohibited helps.

They're decrying these helps as not being available to illegal aliens, and thus, they're seeking this foolish amnesty idea, as per Hillary and the other Democrats' in our Senate are quoted as doing, this article. Otherwise, where is the relevancy to between the two issues here, in reference to federal assistance at this time, in reference to the Gulf?

It is undoubtedly that illegal aliens are trying to secure these helps (your link, thanks) and the Democrats are now trying to get "amnesty" on their behalf inorder for illegals to secure those as-now forbidden things.

Has ANYONE suggested that this would be the proper time
for ILLEGAL aliens to GO HOME!

No AMNESTY!
Go BACK to wherever you are from.

These people have a country and a home.
They are NOT homeless.
They all have family they send $$ back to regularly so...
"FOLLOW THE MONEY"

Hopefully there will be a third party candidate who will run against both the democrats and the republican's failure to deal with this problem.

how about a free bus ride home? And you know, the evil Karl Rove just might have put a political strategist in Hillary's campaign to give her bad advice!! She's so insulated from the real world, she would probably believe anything.

File this info away as reference material for upcoming elections and or their appeals for monetary support.

At this juncture,I know how I will vote in 2006.

"Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is urging the Department of Homeland Security to assure illegal immigrants that they will get their fair share of Hurricane Katrina relief aid without fear of being deported."

I disagree with her in regards to the "...without fear of being deported." part of her statement, but I do agree that illegals should get their fair share.

Of course I think their fair share is zero, and I hope that DHS & FEMA make sure the crimaliens get it.

I'm from Illinois and don't think Durbin will ever be defeated here. I haven't got a clue why. I going to show my age here, but I remember when Dems(old school Dems)wanted to uphold the law. What's up with the Dem voters now days? It would appear they just what to break the law. Are we (people who believe in the law) out of touch? I have a seriously hard time comprehending this stuff.
