Those FReepers who seem to think that Rudy's personal views on gun control are enough to keep him out of the White House are whistling in the dark. A President has little, if any, control on issues such as guns, gays and abortion (just look at all GWB has been able to accomplish during five years of staunch opposition on these issues - virtually nothing).
It's up to Congress and the Courts and, if whatever way they come down on these matters, Rudy would support. He is a decisive, aggressive, ruthless, eloquent, intelligent leader with charisma who is a natural as a potential Commander in Chief. I only wish he had experience at the state governorship level to round out his CV.
