Why doesn't somebody tell me these things?

I know people say that sarcasm is good for the soul.

But, whiile the story at the MSN front page may be old news, somebody is trying to milk the story as much as they can and on the front pages of big web sites. That seems to me like a concerted and very partisan effort to make sure that as many people see the negative headlines, even if untrue, about the republicans.

Hey, I just noticed, that suddenly, the picture and headline have been changed to a story about the NFL, week 4.

If the NFL was going to be the main headline, why didn't they have that as the lead story from the beginning of the day?
