Insofar as Hinrich' depression/gullibility angle is concerned I wonder if he was one of the Paxil/Zoloft brigade as a kid and if he was still on something like that? Could make him more susceptible to being "guided" by some new-found friends.

Could make him more susceptible to being "guided" by some new-found friends. That too is possible. The only thing I'm willing to remove from the realm of possibility is that this was just a suicide.
