It is not safe... or legal.. for cars so "slide by" missing cyclists by inches. However, if we ride over by that line then that is exactly what motorists do. We get killed that way. Strangely enough, we are safer being hated. 2. The bike paths here are used by cyclists... but they go nowhere, end abruptly in unsafe spots, are strewn with debris and have trees and mailboxes hanging into traffic. Fer sakes.
