It was time for Dick Armey to go when he dismissed the idea of eliminating the Federal gas tax because the Oil companies would only "raise the price" of gas, instead of passing the savings on to the customer.
Well we'll get a look at his logic this weekend in Georgia. Midnight tonight the 15 cent Georgia gas tax the Gov Perdue waived two weeks ago gets reinstated. If the price elevates by the same amount and stays there maybe Armey was right.
