Our small wood products plant employs around 75 full-employees. We provide medical insurance for all of them. Not because the government says we must, but because we get better quality workers and more loyal employees because of the benefits.......and also because we care about them.
That said, if we provided no insurance and we received a government mandate to provide only for immigrants..........we would probably shut our facility down and go totally to outsourcing (which is already 50% of our business).
I cannot imagine what Kyl and Cornyn are thinking!
