ExSoldier and his wife survived the storm. There is no structural damage to their home; there are a lot of tree branches down.
He is unable to get online for a while. There was major damage to the regional trunk system. The cellular system is dysfunctional as well.
He called me yesterday afternoon during the few minutes that I was out of cell range; my voicemail alert didn't go off until supper tonight.
