Highway Watch asks for help finding fuel tanker
By Lance Orr
On Oct. 14 the Highway Watch program's Highway ISAC issued a Be On the Lookout requesting help finding an apparently stolen tanker truck from Pennyslvania.
According to the BOLO release, an empty fuel tanker is missing from the parking lot of Pop's Grill on State Road 41 in Avondale, Pa. The Pennsylvania State Police believes the tanker was stolen between Oct. 7 and 10. Law enforcement has identified the trailer as a 1975 silver Trailmobile 40-foot fuel tanker with a VIN number of M40514 and no registration plate. The trailer has the number 109 in black, four-inch letters on the front.
Persons with information about the stolen tanker can call the Highway ISAC at (866) 821-3444, or email hwisac@trucking.org.
