Suspicious Object Found Near Offutt

OMAHA, Neb. -- Officials are investigating a suspicious object left in a grassy area near Offutt Air Force Base.

It was found near Erhling Berquist Hospital on the side of the road on property owned by Offutt.

At 11:30 a.m., officials had shut down the intersection of 28th Avenue and Leewood Drive.

KETV NewsWatch 7 has learned that the Omaha Bomb Squad and the Offutt K-9s are at scene.
