I have read that they come and go across the border to Canada on the reservations.

Researching for you:

Blackfoot - NW Montana - borders with Canada and on West with Glacier National Park

Crow - borders by Wyoming on South and NW boundary 10 miles from Billings

Flathead - North of I-90 between Missoula and Kalispell 1.2 million acres

Ft. Peck - 40 miles West of N. Dakota border and 50 miles South of Canadian border - more than 2 million acres

Ft. Belknap - 650,000 acres of Northcentral Montana

Little Shell (Chippewa) - No designated reservation

Northern Cheyenne - Southeastern Montant, 445,000 acres - borders Tongue River and Crow Reservation

Rocky Boys - Near Canadian border in Northcentral Montana

The area near Dillon is primarily National Forest and National Park territory.

Thank you for the reservation info, I did not realize there were that many reservations in Montana.

Scott's mother was born on the Flathead reservation.

Once in America and with Indian papers, there would be no
trouble moving around.

It would be interesting to know who the owners of the motels are.........
