No windows or roof? I hope the rain holds off. How come people haven't been evicted from the damaged high rises?

I wouldn't hold Jeb responsible for hurricane damage. Florida is much more prepared than Louisiana apparently was. I would think that elderly and disabled residents would be housed on the lower floors, and not up high. That's idiotic.

We're all sitting around waiting for a big earthquake out here. There have been quite a few small ones in the last couple of months. Sometimes, you just can't be totally prepared in the event of a natural disaster. The best thing to do is be neighborly, and check on people next door, etc.

Those high rise condos in S. Florida probably had older windows, pre-Andrew code. Jeb pre-positioned according to the tracking maps. The one time he should not have accepted responsibility for something, he does. Go figure.

If Max Mayfield says all the peninsula should be prepared, he means all parts of Florida.
